Prince William and Kate Middleton will be getting married on 29th April, 2011. It is expected to be a very special day not only in UK, but for almost all countries over the world. Media around the world is trying its best to provide the best coverage of Royal Wedding; many channels are planning and offering different prizes to their viewers.

As we all know that which TV channel to watch the coverage, as the likes of CBS in the US and the BBC in the UK has made certain that you will know the time when live coverage starts. But youtube will be the best option for those who will be at work.

Well as expected British are already overwhelmed by the media frenzy surrounding Prince William’s wedding, but the coverage in the United States is also heating up now and reached fever pitch in the week before the April 29 ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

It is really interesting to know that in United States all television networks and cable channels plan to move their headquarters to the banks of the River Thames a week before the big day.

A very famous channel NBC network and its cable affiliate MSNBC plan 20 hours of coverage on the day of the wedding, with a dozen of their journalists and personalities on the ground. And other cable channels including Bravo and E! will feature documentaries like “Inside the Royal Wedding” and will grade the royal styles with “Fashion Police” segments.

And if we talk about Australia’s media, someone has mentioned in the news that all media offices around Australia will resemble ghost towns this week with a veritable cast of thousands off to the UK for the royal wedding. Its has been mentioned on a website that  there were so many local journalists and crew in the Brisbane airport Qantas lounge last Thursday it looked like a scene from the Queensland Media Awards.
